Wajsarova (Mazankova), Vera
active from year 1972
Born Mazankova, in the 1970s-80s popular Czech female vocalist, popular because of her cooperation with Petr Novak. Wife of Oldrich Wajsar, bassist in Novak's George&Beatovens. After leaving Novak, they had their own band Minimum, active till 1990. After that, Wajsarova took a break because of health problems with vocal cords. Together with her husband they founded a goat farm in Czech Paradise (close to city of Jicin). In 2006 Wajsarova is coming back with a repertoir more and more inclined to chanson.
