Poet, lyrics writer, musician, fine artist, co-founder of DG307, one of the most essential personalities of Czech Underground movement in 1970s. Also wrote lyrics for Plastic People, for which he was persecuted by the communist establishment, imprisoned for disorderly conduct in a trumped-up trial in 1976. In 1980 forced to emigrate to Sweden, later relocated to USA. In 1995 returned back to Prague.
