Buty
active from year 1986

one of the most popular Czech folk-rock bands ever. Founded in Ostrava on the remains of bands U238 and B komplex by Richard Kroczek and Radek Pastrnak. The bands assets are musical invention (with spontaneous trips outside the genre boundaries) and musicians skills. On the other side, the lyrics seem often obscure and even stupid, without any ambitions on rhymes or rhytmical structure, often even without any hints of a message. Although it is obviously a part of the band's image, not all the musical fans can digest that. During the time, the lyrics quality increases, unfortunately together with slow decrease of the band's activity (5 years gap between the latest albums).
