Stephunk T.

(proper name Stepan Tuma) is a Czech musician and producer performing on Czech scene since 1991. Member of well known indie bands Sebastiens and Colorfactory; after that, he founded his own band Liquid Harmony. The album (1) was the starting point for live electronic music in the Czech Republic (CZ Gramy Award 1997). Since 1999 he produces for several other musicians including DJ Bidlo, Default, DJ Martin Haberland, DJ Lumiere, DJ Chris Sadler. At the end of the year 2000 Stephunk T. invited Radimo ( MC and multi instrumentalist ) to help him launch the Stephunk T. Live project. In 2001 they toured across Europe including performances at many festivals and club shows from Prague to Amsterdam. After this period Stephunk T. and Radimo secluded themselves in a cottage in the Jizera Mountains in the north of CZ to work on material for their new album. This culminated in a performance supporting the Stereo MC’s in Prague(2nd Feb. 2003) and thus was born the complete Stephunk T. Live band ( drums, bass, brass section, scratcher, MC and computer support) . In 2005 he moved to London where he lives permanently, composes and produces. [taken from official pages, adjusted]
