Taktici
active from year 1977

Slovak pop band similarly oriented as the most famous Slovak band Elan. In 1979 they got an invitation to play in the Great Britain as a support of Garry Glitter. After they did not get an approval from the Czechoslovak authorities, all the four members emigrated to USA and their recordings were banned in Czechoslovakia. After the revolution in 1989, two of the founding members came back (though not for good); Vladimir Kolenic recorded a solo album as a reminder to the original band; later he granted the rights to use the name Taktici to their revival band, originally called New Al-bum.
