Hana Hegerova (* 20.10.1931 Bratislava)

the most famous Czech chanson singer. Born in SLovakia, beginnings as actress in Zilina, Slovakia (1953), later in Bratislava, in 1958 moved to Prague and became a member of the most cultic theatres as singer and actress. Guest artist in Olympia, Paris in 1967. A number of movie roles and dozens of chanson albums with remakes of classical French chanson titles as well as original music composed by most prominent Czech and Slovak composers for her (Petr Hapka, Jaro Filip etc.)
