Jiri Stivin

top musician, composer & leader, since early 60's a leading personality of Czech rock, jazz and culture at all. In 1961-62 member of rock'n'roll pioneer band Sputnici, goes throug the age of jazzrock (Jazz Q with Martin Kratochvil), chamber jazz (Karel Velebny's SHQ), records classical music (Vivaldi), on his later recordings joining the influence of all genres into original musical compositions outside of any boundaries. Album #6. je is a trip to minimal music with the best Czech jazz woman singer Mirka Krivankova.
