Abraxas in 2005
Started in 1976 by Slavek Janda. His brother Petr sang in Olympic, another famous Czech rock-n-roll band. Moved from artrock to new wave in 1980s. After a long break in 1990s filled in by solo projects of Janda (Yandim Band and Panta Rhei with Jana Koubkova) and Imrich (Tango), comeback in 1995. The definitive end comes woth the cancer diagnosis for Imrich, of which he passed away in 2024.
