legendary rock band from Brno. Beginnings as Progress Organization; renamed several times as a result of communist repressions (1970 transformed to Jan Sochor Group, 1977 Barnodaj, then Progres 2, Progres-pokrok, back to Progres 2). From the short progressive-rock songs (as a sort of more melodical Moravian answer to Prague-based Flamengo or Brithish The Cream), they reoriented themselves step by step to larger composed scenic projects with equal accent to musical, textual and visual components. The first Czech rock opera Dialogue With The Universe (preimere in 1978) is considered the magnum opus of the band. In spite of several long breaks in the band's life, the core members (Kluka-Vane-Pelc] always managed to put themselves back together.
