Extempore
active from year 1972

Originally a folk band founded by J.J.Neduha in 1972 (but with roots in several folk duos in the late 1960s - with J.Hradec, M.Prochazkova, I.Bartosek, V.Marek); step by step forming the second biggest legend of Czech underground music (after Plastic People) with elements of psychedelic music, jazz, punk and new wave. Last concert in September 1981, then some of the members left the communist Czechoslovakia. Neduha founded Extempore Blues Band Wien in 1983 in Austria but that is quite a different band. The real comeback in 1990 after Neduha's arrival from exile, recorded a new album, then irregular concerts with continuously changing line-up.
