Brutus
active from year 1967

tea-party band from Rakovnik;, the original rock'n'roll sound slowly changing to punk. Often a subject of communist prosecution; thus changing the name: originally Mandragora, later Electronic, Elektronik, Brutus, Kyklop, after 1989 Brutus again. Performed and cooperated with a number of foreign bands like UK Subs, TV Smith, Suzie Quatro, Dr. Feelgood, also the Slovak Zona A and No Name. Since the beginnings, more than 40 musicians took turn in the band line-up.
