Laufer, Josef

Czech actor, singer, moderator, script writer, theatre director, also interpreter and translator. His father was Czech army physician, mother was Spaniard. He spent his childhood in England (1939-1946). After return to Czechoslovakia, he studied DAMU (theatre academy), played in small theatres (ABC, Semafor) and some movies. As a singer, he started with rock'n'roll, backed by Their Majesties, later pop and country, with continuously decreasing quality, often with backind band Golem.
