Vlasta Tresnak
Excellent singer & songwriter, member of folk singers exile association called Safran, located in Uppsala, Sweden. Both albums 1. and 2. were originally issued in Sweden, in the Czech Republic it was only possible after the revolution in 1989. Album #1 is probably the best in this genre that was ever recorded by a Czech artist. Album #2 is in a similar mood; CD reissue has five more tracks recorded in 1991 together with two gypsy musicians Korman (sax,vln)-Gadzor (bass). Album #3 is interestng by combination of Tresnak's traditional style and jazzy accompaniment of Korman family group and drummer David Koller (see Lucie) who has also produced the record.
