Hlas, Ivan
active from year 1968
rock singer & songwriter. Member of several bands at Hanspaulka, a famous Prague musical district (e.g. Zizen bluesband, Navi Papaya with Ondrej Hejma etc.). In 1983 he formed his own band Nahlas. After 1989 he often changes usicians and band names (Trio rychleho nasazeni, Ivan Hlas and His Boys, Ruzovy brejle, Ivan Hlas Trio). He is permanently seeking his musical position between rock, folk, blues, chanson and pop but never out of the boundaries of a good taste.
