Kabat ( The Coat )
active from year 1983
one of the most favourite bands in its genre. Started in 1984 in Teplice, Czech Republic, originally playing trashmetal, later changing style to "Pub-Metal", sometimes mixed with other styles (e.g. country). Winner of Czech Nightingale chart in 2003. Simple music and lyrics are probably the reason why the band is a long term top seller in the Czech Republic. [Source and photo: Kabat official site]
