Legendary folk band. Originated by singers&songwriters duo Vrestal-Sazavsky meeting the female singer and guitarist Zuzana Navarova (student of Spanish language at Charles University, Prague at that time). Navarova shifted the boarders of Czech folk towards the real World Music (latin-american influences long before it made the british songstress Sade famous). In the late 1990s the remaining duo Vrestal-Sazavsky go on under the modified name "Neřež". Navarova performs with Columbian guitarist Ivan Gutierrez, later building their new band "KOA", but Nerez sporadically appeared in live performances. After Navarova's death in 2004, the band is naturallz disbanded but surpriyinglz coming back in 2019 with the female singer Lucia Suralova.
