Bartosova, Iveta

Popular Czech female singer. Winner of Czech Nightingale in 1986, 1990, 1991. First hits in duo with Slovak Peter Sepesi. After his tragical death, she cooperated successively with Balet Band, Kroky of Frantisek Janecek, Ladislav Staidl. Comeback in late 1990s thanks to roles in musicals (Dracula, Grease, Joan of Arc, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables). Personal problems, resulting in hard depressions, lead to her suicide in 2014.
