Filipova, Lenka
active from year 1970
Popular female singer and guitarist. Daughter of opera singer (father) and music teacher (mother), she graduated at Prague Conservatory in classical guitar. Besides her successful pop singer career, she sang chansons (studies in Paris) and performs in classical guitar concerts. Partly distinguished from average grey pop scene by music choice (french chansoniers as well as original music written for her by her old friend, classical composer and guitar virtuoso Stepan Rak) and her own lyrics.
