Sodoma, Viktor
active from year 1965

popular singer; in the beginnings of his career, one of the Czech rock'n'roll pioneers. Later occasional actor and a businessman. His parents co-founded Reduta, the famous Prague Café where many artists met together. One of them, Jiri Suchy, helped him to get his first engagement in the Semafor Theatre, famous by its musical activities. In 1966-68 Sodoma sang in two of the best Czech rock'n'roll bands: Matadors and Flamengo. After 1968 he came back to Semafor and cooperated with Frantisek Ringo Cech, author of simple silly pop songs, which became boring after some time not only for the public but also for the singer himself.
