Dr. Max
years active: 1979 - 1994

Originally hardrock band from Prague; in the beginnings using the name Batyskaf. In the 1980's, together with Prazsky vyber and Abraxas, the best known representatives of Czech New Wave. Roman Holy later headed to funky (e.g. J.A.R.). Dan Sustr founded another famous band Ticha dohoda. The band actually ended in 1991, in 1993 recording one more album; later on just occasional concert reunions.
