Novak, Pavel
active from year 1961
pop singer, composer and lyrics writer. Beginnings with a traditional jazz orchestra, in 1964 co-founded a rock'n'roll band Symkopa. In 1967 started his own band Vox, singing pop music. In the 1980s he performs with the band Proto, partly aiming for harder sound. After 1989 he starts the band Family (consisting of his family members), getting oriented to songs for children. In 2009 died of prostate cancer.
