Czech female pop singer. Started singing in 1960s after winning a radio competition "Na modré vlně" ("On a Blue Wave"). After that she performed with some of the most popular singers of that time like Eva Pilarová, Jaromír Mayer or Karel Černoch. In 1971-84 acted in the musical programs of Yvetta Simonová and Milan Chladil, later had her own program "Nikdy nejsi sám" ("You Are Never On Your Own"). Ended her career in the mid-1980s with coming motherhood and death of her mentor, composer and musical director Ladislav Pikart. (Source: Wikipedia)
