folk singer and songwriter; in communist times, one of the members of the cultic folk singers' association Safran. In 1970s he played songs written by his friend Jiri Zych; thanks to satirical lyrics and spontaneous performance he earned the reputation of a "folk clown". After he converted to Catholic Church in 1981, his works gains intensity and loses attraction.
