Merta, Vladimir
active from year 1965
folk singer & songwriter, in 1980's one of the most popular musicians in the Czech Republic, though not supported by the official authorities. His lyrics are influenced by the Czech poet Josef Hora. Among other activities, his cooperation with the jewish music band Mispacha, and several projects with female sopranist, musician and historian Jana Lewitova are worth to mention.
