Motorband
active from year 1984
metal band from Teplice, gaining wider awareness among Czech musical fans in 1986. The frontman Kamil Strihavka outgrows the rest of the band with his popularity and leaves the band in the early 1990s. After more personal changes, the band records its second album, then disappears in 1994 for a long time. After 2002, Libor Matejcik tries to build up a new Motorband but it suffers from the unstable line-up and though they often perform and record new albums, their popularity is nothing compared to the "golden years" in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
